WEB® Procedure
The WEB Aneurysm Embolization System procedure is
typically performed via standard femoral artery
access and neurointerventional technique under
general anethesia.
Procedure Steps:
- The delivery microcatheter is inserted and advanced from the femoral artery at the top of the leg into position at the neck of the aneurysm.
- The WEB is inserted and delivered through the microcatheter and positioned using fluoroscopy.
- The WEB is carefully deployed within the aneurysm sac.
- When the WEB is in the correct position, the detachment system releases it from the delivery wire.
